Sara Clairmont is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with individuals and couples to encourage growth and support overall wellness. Her clinical areas of interest are depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, self esteem, life stage transitions as well as relationship struggles (parenting, partner and peer).
Sara utilizes a holistic, person-centered, eclectic approach to therapy rooted in strength-based, insight-oriented, CBT and trauma focused theories and therapeutic techniques. She strives to help clients identify and strengthen values in order to foster healing and change. Sara believes in building a positive therapeutic relationship based in trust, empathy, compassion, curiosity and humor.
Sara received her Bachelors Degrees in Sociology and Spanish with a minor in Psychology from Central Washington University and a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Her clinical work experiences have included community mental health, community based health and wellness as well as private practice. Sara is bilingual and bicultural and enjoys working with individual of multiple cultural backgrounds. In her personal time Sara enjoys reading, baking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
